My first time in Germany was as a student, working on my undergraduate degree in the beautiful city of Bamberg. Since then, I've returned numerous times, spending time in twelve of Germany's sixteen states as a traveller, student group leader, and as a participant in teachers' workshops. I love German and the cultures that speak it and hope to not only help students navigate the trickier aspects of the language, but to instill in them an excitement about a wonderful part of the world.
In our spare time, which is minimal with a two-year old son and the arrival of our daughter in July, my wife and I love to travel, each of us closing in on twenty countries visited. My long list of additional passions includes running, food, music, reading, and the exploits of the Cardinals, Blues, Missouri Tigers and German national soccer team.
